Holy Trinity Church is one of the Catholic traditions, within the Church of England, in the Diocese of Sheffield. Worship is traditional Anglo- Catholic and the Parochial Church Council has passed a resolution on Episcopal Ministry as set out in the House of Bishops' Declaration on the Ministry of Bishops and Priests. Accordingly, although in the Diocese of Sheffield and under the patronage of the Diocesan Bishop, the parish is under the Episcopal care of the Bishop of Beverley.
